Even 10 years ago, building analytics was a pipe dream for building automation, but these off-the-shelf products are available now! With analytics we can track and schedule maintenance, as well as periodically re-commission those portions of the system that need more attention. We can use analytics to build a schedule for retrofitting and replacing end of life mechanical systems. This is an invaluable tool to keep costly repairs from surprising the budget!
